If you continue in the same direction that they did, you will eventually run into a cast of characters who will work against you. Eliminate them, but maintain vigilance for any other potential threats that may still be in the area.
You are free to enter Elden Ring Stormveil Castle through the one and only entrance that is currently available to you at this time. This entrance is located on the northern side of the castle. Once you have reached the central plaza of Stormveil Castle, finding the Fog Door that leads to Godrick the Grafted should not present too much of a challenge for you. But first things first: we have to deal with all of these foes who are currently in front of us. You should make an effort to persuade each of them, one at a time, to follow you in order to prevent being overpowered by their numbers.
Continue onward and upward in the direction of the castle as soon as the final one of them has been vanquished. Take some time to relax if you feel the need to, and if you do, go to the room next door to use the elevator after you've had some time to unwind.
